NFL Prediction Thread

What a wild first two weeks to this NFL season, Brady getting injured, Chargers losing 2 in a row, its all upside down.

This thread is my predictions on each week, and yours in there in the comments somewhere.

So First Lets start out with the Standings: (Updated September 23, 2008)

Now here is how my predictions work, I will go through every game in the NFL in that week, and predict a winner, overall at the end of the season my goal is to be over 50% correct. If The game is Highlighted in Orange, as shown below:

Cowboys over Eagles - Week 2

Eagles over Cowboys - Week 2

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ That means the game is choosen incorrectly.

Carolina will sail through minnesota. They have won two tough games even without their best receiver.

The Eagles - Cowboys game was tough. It was very entertaining though. I'm a big Philly sports fan so the Eagles are my team but I hate to admit that you're probably right about the Eagles and Steelers game.

The only reason tennessee will beat houston is because of the effects it has on Ike. The Texans will have there minds other places. If it was another day id give it to the Texans since Vince Young is hurt.

Also another hot game for you guys is Carolina vs. Vikings. Just because the Vikings replaced there QB dont exhale Panther fans, this could be a tough game considering the Vikings still DO have Adrian Peterson. This game might be closer than you think.

Another game that has been posted is Cinncinnati vs. NY Giants. This game wont be close, The Giants are doing good, and Cincinnait, NOT SO HOT. Carson Palmer is having a terrible year and ever since coming off ACL surgery he has not performed well at all. Chad Johnson is a huge distraction to the team, all i see for them is going down right now.
