Not necessarily. The monster was bombed, but I don't believe that NYC was destroyed, other than by the monster. It wasnt a Godzilla lizard thing, it was something that kind of looked like a spider.

The bomb didn't kill it though... Every main character died except Lily because she got on a safe helicopter.
The alien was actually still alive.

Its not really an end of the world movie though. Its more based on ''A superhero who lives on the streets'' type of movie...
I wanted to see it but I heard it got bad ratings.

So good. Very gory. And we all know Jigsaw'll come back from the dead and take over the world, but it hasn't happened yet.

It wasn't DIRECTLY that, but the baby does take over the world (or so it says in her vision)
