| Hello, this is my first shot at making a guide like this, so don't laugh 
I will have a few steps.
Step 1: Theme
You need a good, strong, followable theme to have a party. Here are some good examples of themes:
Picnic
Meeting
Concert
Birthday Party (CP, not real)
Mod/Admin/Forum appreciation
And some bad themes:
Baseball
Medeival
Cows
2. Timing
Make sure you have a good time for your party. I will give a time scale.
The places are US (East, Central, Mountain and Pacific), Oman, U.K.
If it is 12:00 PM Eastern U.S.:
It's 11:00 AM Central U.S.
It's 10:00 AM Mountain U.S.
It's 9:00 AM Pacific U.S. (Also Penguin Standard Time)
It's 5:00 PM UK
It's 9:00 PM in Oman
If it is 12:00 PM Central U.S.:
It's 1:00 PM Eastern U.S.
It's 11:00 AM Mountain U.S.
It's 10:00 AM Pacific U.S.
It's 6:00 PM in U.K.
It's 10:00 PM in Oman
If it's 12:00 PM Mountain U.S.:
It's 2:00 PM Eastern U.S.
It's 1:00 PM Central U.S.
It's 11:00 AM Pacific U.S.
It's 8:00 PM in U.K.
It's 12 Midnight in Oman
If it's 12:00 PM in Pacific U.S.:
It's 3:00 PM in Eastern U.S.
It's 2:00 PM in Central U.S.
It's 1:00 PM in Mountain U.S.
It's 9:00 PM in U.K.
It's 1:00 AM in Oman
If it's 12:00 PM in U.K.:
It's 6:00 AM in Eastern U.S.
It's 5:00 AM in Central U.S.
It's 4:00 AM Mountain U.S.
It's 3:00 AM in Pacific U.S.
It's 4:00 PM in Oman
If it's 12:00 PM in Oman:
It's 3:00 A.M. In Eastern U.S.
It's 2:00 A.M. in Central U.S.
It's 1:00 AM In Mountain U.S.
It's 12:00 A.M. In Pacific U.S.
It's 8:00 A.M. in U.K.
EASIER WAY: go to here: | Click | Just choose the time zone given in the party thread, then on the second one choose your country or region (US/Canada only for the regions, other countries too small) in the second box and POOF! The time in your time zone is there.
Step 3: Events
You have to make the party interesting if you want people to come! Here are some popular events:
Sledding
Find 4
Or, have some unique style! Use some interesting spices, like:
How fast can you complete all 6 missions in a row?
Cart surfer: How fast can you lose?
Step 4: Guest List
Make your guest list look good! make all your guests look like you worship them! Make their names gold, or add a special font or size! It could mean them coming to your next party!
Step 5: Server and Place
Be careful not to use a large overcrowded server! You might not be able to find your guests!
If you do need/want to use a big server, use an exotic, uncrowded place, like the Boiler Room, the Dojo or the Iceburg. Be careful not to make your meeting place the town or plaza, as many times these places are full, and some guests cannot get in!
Step 6: Reminders
A few hours before, or the day before the party, send out reminders, including the time of the party, what server and what place! This way more people will come!
