| I am having trouble installing iTunes 8 on my Windows Vista PC. Here's a pic of what happens when I try to install iTunes 8.
Here's what happens:

I really need iTunes 8 because I'm getting an iPod Touch sometime soon. My dad has iTunes 8 and Has Windows Vista, but I don't want to use his because he uses it for work and I can't always go on it. So I really need help from you Apple Fanboys (I guess).

| Apple has plenty of fights while downloading iTunes with Vista, check your firewall settings and edit them to allow this download.

| Hmm..well i have Vista and mine downloaded easily. You have quicktime already right?..I dont see whats the problem.

| I'm guessing a firewall or proxy Detected. Try Firefox 3 1.0.2

| I did mine without Firefox and it still worked.

Since it's an apple product I used Safari. Btw, still isn't working.

| Safari is fail though... anyway did you check for fire walls slash proxies?
If not it's probably IP problems.

| Darn. If only Dale had a Windows. But he doesn't.
Make sure you have Quicktime Player.
