Because original artwork from PDN is hosted as a .pdn file, what are some tips for getting a high quality picture from PDN artwork?

Well I just got done making my simple avatar, and is it just me or is it incredibly blurry?

Well it may be blurry because you flattened it therefore ruining the blending (filters) mode?

You can touch it up a little bit by using some plugins are using fractals in the backround and screening them.
