|  ______________________________________________________________________________Welcome to the Festival of Music, a gigantic musical event that carries on July through mid-August! Form your own band, perform in "Beats", and try to win medals!
______________________________________________________________________________I. Forming a Band
Interested in becoming part of the show? You can make your own band! An average live-play* band requires a lead singer, drummer, and guitarist, but you can have back-up singers and dancers, along with more instrumentalists if you wish. A recording* band will require a singer and a composer, and once again, can have more members, including backup singers, dancers, and fakeplayers, who pretend to play instruments.

You practice and practice for what? The Beats!! Every week, there is a new Beat with a special theme. After every Beat, the text and logo at the beginning of this topic will change to show you what Beat is coming up. Be creative, stick with the theme, and have fun!
Upcoming Beat:
Open Mike- Show your stuff! Just get your band together, show up and play! Begins at 5:00:00 PM EST on Wednesday, July 9 in America, Server Thermal. At the end of Open Mike, the first Beat will be announced here.

You can win a prize if your performance at a Beat is good--the goal is to try to get as many medals as you can. Remember, the fun is more important than winning!

Live-Play*: A live-play band performs directly in front of an audience. However, you may not choose a real song--you're limited to songs on the Club Penguin list for igloo music, but you may sing your own lyrics from songs you enjoy.
Recording*: A recording band may do a live-play if they wish. Their composer must find a song to record and give the music file to me, which will be incorporated into a music video. This is much harder to do than a live-play band, so think carefully before you decide to form a recording band.
