The only downside about houses is spying.

EDIT:I just got an idea! We should have teams (eg:Blue Team, Red Team, etc). Anyone like the idea?

Unfortunately people make other accounts and spy on others (yes, they don't get caught).

You can't deny that spying is what made the houses fun, though.

Ok, you see. Houses used to be more active because the staff actually had contests that were Club Penguin related, and since no one plays Club Penguin, the houses just become random topics that you can find at the Chit-Chat or Random Forum forums. So, unless the majority of our users plays Club Penguin, this will overall be an epic fail.

I still play CP (only -5 minutes a day, though). But still, I think houses would still be a sucess if we:

1. Advertise lots to get more users
   
2. Spy?
   
3. Get people to play CP somehow
   
4. Have lots of contests
