| dude, just give it up. dragcave was a great game and all, but the site's twit owner isnt taking very good care of it, and our eggs havent been clickable for like months. My neighborhood friend got in a real big argument with the owner of the site.

If your hatchling dies/you kill it, once it gets enough clicks, the revive option will work

Maybe you didn't include the picture of the dragon/egg? That does it sometimes.
Most of the pictures in the guide are wrong.
