| Hiya
Of the many times I have been to my local library, I have struggled to find one that looks interesting. I like ones that are fairly thick, to keep you occupied for longer.
I have read all except the last of the Harry Potter books, and I think they are really good and keep you gripped and you feel as if you are missing out on something if you stop reading it.
If your wondering whether an author/book is the right one for you, follow these steps to help you :-
1. Try to picture different scenes in the book, if you can come up with something, this could be the one.
2. If, when reading it, you feel as if nothing else is going on around you, and you have your eyes glued to the book, plus feel like the whole story is being acted out in front of your eyes, and your practically glued to the book, than continue reading until the end of the chapter/book.
3. If you are in a shop or a library, read the first few pages and see if the author grips you attention. If yes borrow/buy the book. If still in doubt, research reviews on the book to help you make your decision.
Another author I found myself giggling to is Louise Rennison. Her first book, 'Angus, thongs and perfect snogging' has been made into a movie. I can safely say that this series is absolutely fantastic and a good series for anyone looking for something different.
Please reply to this topic if
- you have read any good books and would like to share it (im sure my school library will have it somewhere)

Thank You

| Nice guide you have. I dont really like long books. Because I just wanna get to the end sometimes to see where it ends.
